Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Loss Prevention Specialist with one of the fastest growing providers of wholesale supplies and food products supporting independent foodservice operators.

Position Details:
--- Title: Loss Prevention Specialist
--- Location: Cranston, RI
--- Shift: Generally 8A-4:30P M-F with some flexibility and weekends needed
--- Compensation: $20-21/hr., Reasonable First Year W2 $45-$50k or more with OT opportunities! Lots of growth potential

Position Description:
Assist the Branch Manager by leading Loss Prevention efforts, efficiently and effectively oversee asset protection on the front end of the branch. Aids in supporting the Operational team, and the cross-functional teams throughout the organization. Leads, conducts, and delivers results regarding concealed product/label switching. Deliver results through policy Guidance, Education, and strategies to help reduce losses. Serve as subject matter expert for focusing on key issues causing shrink with improper keying of product, Case/Unit issues, and quantity key usage. Analyze data, conduct audits, and identify trends to create actionable plans to mitigate risk. Maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace. Develop projects while continuously improving front-end physical security, processes, standards, training, and policies that result in a reduction of losses. May be assigned special projects or responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:
--- Experience with loss prevention, inventory control, and/or security
--- Personnel with Miliary experience are a great fit for this role
--- Excellent oral and written communication skills
--- Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines
--- Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Office products, physical security infrastructure, and alarm systems
