Helpdesk Support Analyst



Location: Waltham, MA



Contract Duration: 6+ Month (Contract)



Job Description


Provides first-level technical phone support to home office staff, as well as to our advisors and their staff, on a wide range of issues and products.


Prioritizes and processes help requests to provide technical problem identification and resolution.


The ideal candidate would also meet the following requirements:


o High-level customer service skills.


o Strong ability to solve problems and find solutions.


o Excellent communication skills (phone manners, listening skills, and follow-up skills).


o Knowledge and experience with Windows XP/7/8, Microsoft Office Suite 2007/2010, TCP/IP networking.


o Mobile device support (Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows mobile).


o Knowledge of POP3 and SMTP protocols, including troubleshooting connectivity issues; experience in advanced MS Outlook 2007/2010 functionality and the protocols involved with connecting to an Exchange 2007 mail server a plus.


o Knowledge of Active Directory and domain environments.


o Mac experience is a plus.
