Job Description:

PURPOSE:The Junior Cybersecurity Developer is responsible for implementing and developing automation use cases and workflows for incident response activities. The Cybersecurity Developer must quickly analyze, design, develop, and iterate functionality. This role requires a combination of technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Automated workflows/processes related to security events through SecurityOrchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) playbooks.
Performs hands-on programming with various tools and platforms
Supports the design, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of functionality, primarily developed in Python.
Develop integrations with security tools and APIs.
Troubleshoot security and related network problems
Maintain and update the SOAR platform, infrastructure, and technology stack.
Participates in security projects or related system activitiesJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education/ Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.Experience:
1-3 years of development experience with Python, Bash, APIs and regular expressions
Active GitHub repository account with code development and examples artifacts.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work in Linux and container environments
Time management skills support meeting deadlines
Investigation and analytic skills
Knowledge of version control systems like GitLab.
Ability to work in an agile environment with frequent releases that operates fully remote.
