Job Responsibilities
We are in search of an experienced Contract Web Developer that would be responsible for supporting our existing infrastructure as well as developing new web based technologies. The developer would be responsible for interaction with key users to translate requirements into a technical design, create program software code to implement agreed-to technical design, test code for technical accuracy as well as achievement of user requirements, and support transfer to production environment. Our expectation is that the Contract Web Developer will have design skills sufficient to adapt incremental changes to our existing Web architecture and content. Our expectation is that the Contract Web Developer will have exceptional programming, testing and operational support skills. Additionally, our expectation is that the Contract Web Developer will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to participate and contribute to a dynamic team.
 
Minimum experience required for this Job
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education,
professional training and/or work experience.
• Demonstrated a minimum of two (2) years of technical design, programming, implementation and support experience in the core competencies identified above.
• Experience and real examples of designing, building and maintaining websites.
• Strong understanding of back-end development Content Management Systems and related modules/plugins.
• Experience in Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization.
• Knowledgeable about emerging web technologies and best practices.
• Ability to follow specific project life cycle instructions and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
