Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prepared Foods Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Develop and maintain a positive and productive store environment, leading a team of Prepared Foods team members to achieve sales and service goals.
• Sales Growth: Work with the store leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies, driving growth and increasing sales revenue.
• Customer Service: Ensure that every customer has an exceptional shopping experience, providing prompt and courteous service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking, to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand.
• Store Visual Merchandising: Work with the store leadership team to create visually appealing store displays, promoting products and driving sales.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all store operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements, including food safety and handling procedures.Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 6+ months of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Retail Experience: 18+ months of retail experience, with a focus on customer service and sales growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of food products, including ingredients, nutrition, and preparation methods.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, and store leadership.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficient mathematical skills, with the ability to manage inventory, process sales, and analyze financial data.Working Conditions:
    • Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Standing: Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
    • Hand Use: Single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
    • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with exposure to temperature fluctuations and humidity.
