Job Description:

Join our team as an experienced Barista at Contessa, a rooftop destination inspired by European old-world resorts and Italian estates. We offer a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring each drink meets our quality standards.
• Polishing and Maintenance: Assist with polishing glassware and cutlery, keeping the coffee station tidy during downtime.
• Running Tickets: Deliver beverages to tables during lunch service efficiently and accurately, supporting the front-of-house team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy lunch periods.
• Inventory Support: Help monitor coffee supplies and equipment, reporting any issues to the manager on duty.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Weekend availability required
  • Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
  • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
  • Team-orientated and positive attitude
  • Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
