The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides advanced practice nursing care to patients with End Stage Renal Disease, including those with chronic kidney disease, dialysis needs, and kidney transplants. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, post-transplant follow-ups, and coordination of transplant schedules, while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure high-quality care. The position offers a flexible schedule of three 10-hour shifts, with a sign-on bonus of $3,750 for eligible candidates.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for:

• Providing advanced practice nursing care to the End Stage Renal Disease patient population, which includes patients with chronic kidney disease, dialysis and kidney transplant
• Coordinating recipient evaluations, post-transplant follow up and scheduling of transplants
• Managing transplant patient care as well as providing care to the dialysis population preparing for transplant
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple teams necessary to deliver safe and attentive care to the patient population.
• Working 30 hours per week, three 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday (no weekends no holidays)
  To qualify, you must have---.
  • A current license to practice in the state of MA as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • 3 - 5 years of inpatient nursing/PA experience
  • 1 year of NP experience preferred
  • Autonomy, flexibility and Self Directedness
    **Sign-on bonus of $3,750.00 for part-time (30 hours) NP hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
