  • Behavioral Health Float Pool Psych RN - Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW - 36hrs.
  • Unit Name: Behavioral Health Float Pool - Psych RN.
  • This position will float to various mental health units throughout the hospital (Pedi, Adult & Geri Psych).
  • Years of Experience Required: 2 years minimum.
  • Skill Sets Required: Trauma informed, patient-centered, and verbally capable of de-escalating patients.
  • Patient Population: Children Ages 3-17, Adults 18 - 65, and Geriatric Adults 66+.
  • EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
  • Floating Required: Yes, to all behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU.
  • Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a). Rotation not required for Night Shift.

        • Clinician to Patient Ratio: Unit specific. Pedi Psych is: 1 to 3. Adult & Geri Psych is 1:7 or 8.

          • AVADE training offered on-site as well as lead EKG training.
          • Knowledge of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health rules and regulations.
