We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in the field with a passion for working with animals and providing high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment. In business since 2003, All Creatures has been voted Best Veterinarian in Salem by the public 6 years in a row! With 5 doctors, we are a very busy hospital that sees dogs, cats and exotics. All Creatures has an excellent support staff including certified and seasoned technicians, as well as a successful intern program for students of all levels. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health and dental insurance options Three weeks paid time off Retirement plan options Yearly scrub allowance Potential monthly bonuses Job Duties include but are not limited to Handling canine, feline, and exotic patients Administering medications, vaccinations and treatments to patients Collecting blood and urine samples Placing catheters, preparing surgical suites, and monitoring patients during surgery Maintaining accurate medical records Acting as a liaison for client communication and explaining standards of care Caring for boarding patients Running in-house laboratory diagnostics Requirements CVT highly desired High school diploma or equivalence Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Reliability and punctuality are crucial Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $19 - $23 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
