Job Summary
As a Clinical Nurse in our Behavioral Health Psychiatric Unit, you will provide direct clinical patient care to individuals with mental health conditions. This role requires a strong nursing background and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, you will supervise and delegate tasks to other nursing staff as needed.

Responsibilities
--- Provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care to patients
--- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on the nursing process
--- Administer medications safely and in a timely manner
--- Perform and fulfill HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed
--- Maintain knowledge of hospital emergency codes and adhere to policies and procedures

Requirements
--- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
--- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
--- BLS certification
--- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, recent acute care experience, and ACLS and/or PALS certifications
