About the RoleMetroWest Medical Center is seeking a qualified Part Time Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult, adolescent, and child patients in a psychiatric setting.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide milieu therapy, individual counseling, and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Assess and evaluate patient mental status, identify areas of concern, and develop strategies to address them.
• Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in discharge planning.
• Support and educate family members and significant others regarding patient status and treatment plans.Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working in psychiatric care, preferably with adults, adolescents, and children.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
