Job SummaryThe Electronic Health Information Coordinator will play a vital role in the organization of electronic health information and records at South Shore Health. This position will ensure that all electronic health records are processed in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and organization of electronic health information and records.
• Work closely with clinical staff to ensure documentation is available for patient care.
• Identify and correct any documents that may need correction in a timely manner.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with approved guidelines for electronic health information processing.
• Perform record reviews for quality documentation and data integrity.
• Complete work assignments in accordance with an established timeline.
• Provide quality customer service through ongoing communication, feedback, and follow-through with manager and customers.
• Assist in the development of documentation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and quality control processes.
• Compile productivity statistics for operations manager.
• Perform all release of information request procedures, working with patients and 3rd party payers, and maintaining logs of requests and response time.Requirements:This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in health information services and/or medical records, as well as experience with handling or processing medical records and utilizing computers.
