In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of our company. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth and professional development within the organization.Work Schedule: Per Diem - 2nd Shift - 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm with rotating WeekendsWork Location: Boston, MA - Tufts Medical CenterBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Casual, PRN, and part-time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only.Job Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical tests
• Enter patient information into our system accurately and efficiently
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when requiredRequired Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
