Software Engineer, Precision Health PlatformVerily is a
subsidiary of Alphabet that is using a data-driven approach to

outcomes.DescriptionAs a member of the Precision Health Platform
engineering organization, you will build modular, composable, and
interoperable components, supporting both platform modules and user
facing applications. These components affect the storage,
processing and display of precision health data, as well as other
products across Verily.Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team to design, develop, and
deliver new software features across a range of Verily
products.
- Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare
options, and propose solutions.
- Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, Google
Cloud, Go, React, Docker, and Terraform to name a
few.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or
equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 3 years experience as a software developer in an industry
setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS
or Azure (GCP preferred).
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming
languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Go, Swift,
Kotlin, Python, or Java/TypeScript.Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Go, React, TypeScript, and/or
SQL.
- Experience with designing and implementing scalable data
processing pipelines with BigQuery or other analytics-oriented
databases.
- Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with
emphasis on HL7 FHIR.The US base salary range for this full-time
position is $125,000 - $192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The
range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and
maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US
locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can
