Job Description:

Replenish produce, participate in regional programs, and monitor inventory control to meet WFM ordering standards. Assist in organizing promotions and maintaining OTS standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase and replenish produce through proper buying procedures.
• Monitor and act upon open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Control spoilage and shrink, achieve turn goals, and participate in inventory.
• Maximize sales potential through effective stocking and merchandising procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate orders to monitor inventory turns.
• Oversee customer special order procedure.
• Analyze and control product transfers, waste, and spoilage.Skills:
  • Extensive produce product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with products, nutritional information, and merchandising expectations.
  • Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
  • Strong basic math skills and computer program knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.Experience:
    • 12+ months retail experience.Physical Requirements:
      • Lift 50 pounds in an 8-hour workday.
      • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
      • Work in wet and dry conditions.
      • Use tools and equipment, including knives and heavy machinery.
