Job SummaryWe are seeking a Billing Customer Service Coordinator
to support our Patient Accounts team at South Shore Hospital.Key
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
regarding billing inquiries and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with hospital personnel to resolve
billing issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize strong research skills to investigate and resolve
complex billing inquiries.
- Adhere to Hospital Credit Collection Policy and HIPAA Privacy
Regulations when handling patient-related information.
- Perform other duties as required to support the Patient
Accounts team.Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or
bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior customer service experience, including extensive phone
work with incoming/outgoing calls, is highly desirable.Why South
