At Johnson & Johnson, we all belong.\rWe are looking for a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Financial Analyst to be the strategic finance business partner within Abiomed Supply Chain Finance group. This position will report to the US Plant Controller in Abiomed Finance and will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial data related to inventory, scrap, and cycle counts.Abiomed, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, is a leading provider of medical devices that provide circulatory and respiratory support, with a mission of recovering hearts & saving lives. • Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory balances for the Abiomed US Locations.
• Perform regular reviews of inventory to identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess items.
• Work closely with supply chain, operations, and procurement teams to identify opportunities to reduce obsolete stock and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Coordinate and manage regular cycle count processes to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Track and report scrap and waste material costs, including root cause analysis for variances.
• Perform detailed aging analysis of GR/IR accounts to identify long-outstanding items. Collaborate with stakeholders to address these aged balances and close open items.
• Prepare regular PPV reports for management, highlighting significant variances and trends.
• Work closely with procurement teams to identify the root causes of PPV.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts expense spending, providing actionable insights.
• Participate in annual budget preparation.\r\r
